A Southern Girl Design was created in 2013 by me, Jananna. I am a full-time 5th grade teacher, a mother to the most perfect little girl, Catie Grace, and a wife to my beyond amazing husband, Gerry.
It all started with a love of all things preppy. Hailing from the South (Louisiana and Tennessee) monograms and appliques are a way of life... much like hair bows, seersucker, good manners, and sweet tea. I believe every little boy should have monogrammed jon jons and little girls' dresses should be smocked or monogrammed.
